What is quantum philosophy?

Seth & Quantum Philosophy

Seth was no power monger, nor was he craving of hero worship. He cautioned Jane and Rob repeatedly against allowing students of his work to fall into such tomfoolery concerning him. He never even attached a name to the philosophy that he passed on to us, and as a matter of fact declared that it was nothing new that deserved to be christened with a new name: It had always been there right before us if we'd just been paying attention.

It's all well and good for him to say so, and it's true that most of his philosophy is likely laced into tons and centuries worth of religious and philosophical gobbledegook (as in the conventional confusion of parameters and contradictions surrounding the topic of "free will," as opposed to Seth's simple, limitless you-create-your-own-reality). The problem with all that other material is that the big truths were most often mentioned almost in passing, after which the dissertations continued on and on down some primrose path to just another skewed, entangled, occluded conclusion. The gems were left lying in the dust, away back up the path somewhere. But if someone were interested in spending a lifetime researching the already written volumes of material, they might be able to sift and sort and analyze - and finally arrive at a compendium of most of what Seth had to say.

Seth was a sharpshooter. He homed in on the truth, stuck to the subject, made infinitely logical sense - and never gave the time of day to the gobbledegook. Bless him! He made sense out of nonsense, and he never insulted our intelligence by ultimately resorting to, "Just keep the faith, baby!"

According to Seth, the kernel, the heart, the very basis upon which all existence builds is the quantum ("the smallest discrete quantity of some physical property that a system can possess") - the very thing that scientists and religionists and theorists have been trying to identify, lo these many centuries. Seth reached out his jolly little finger, said, "Oh, it's there, all right," and named the smallest indivisible particle: Consciousness Unit. And with that gesture, he redefined "Life."

Life, he said, exists on an infinite number of "planes" or "levels," only one of which is the material world as we know it. And the quantum that is common to all is the Consciousness Unit. That means that everything seen and unseen is comprised of consciousness - a consciousness whose solitary goal is to expand, to become more of itself.

That is what existence is all about, starting with the infinitesimal quantum, enlarging to galaxies, encompassing "life after death" and every plane of existence: Expansion - becoming more.

So, since Seth won't take credit for the philosophy, we've named it Quantum Philosophy, in honor of the heart of the matter. You're very welcome to call it whatever you like. I doubt that Seth cares.
