I used to have terrible allergies, and for several days at a time at least twice a year, I was good for nothing except blowing my nose. It was awful, and I halfway thought about moving out of Houston (which the allergists jokingly call the dumping ground of the midwest.) But it's my home, and I hated to go - so I put up with it. It was all so discouraging though. I didn't want to get hooked on the routine with the allergists: It's terribly expensive, and besides, they only treat symptoms, not causes. I did all the reading, took handfuls of vitamins, broke down and tried every over-the-counter medication I could find (and felt like a zombie much of the time). I was missing something, but I didn't know what.

I've been eating Super Blue Green Algae for about a year now, and this summer I got past the allergy season with just a little congestion for a couple of days. That may not sound like such a great thing, but after you've been worn down with discouragement year after year over a condition that seems to have no cure, it feels to me like the hope of a lifetime. I figure that The Algae has some trace-something in it, some perfect balance that I needed.

I've got a real kick-butt attitude now: I'm going to whip this problem once and for all. I feel like I've been let out of prison.
