Sarah's Story

The first time I laid eyes on my son after a two-month absence, I thought he'd fallen in love. He walked like a prince: head held high and no more slouched, weight-of-the-world shoulders. He gleamed - in his eyes, his complexion. Whatever he'd found, I wanted it.

I teased him, and he laughed, surprised at my guess, a little bewildered that there was anything noticeably different about himself. But then he said, "The only thing that's changed in my life is that a couple of months ago, I started taking Super Blue Green Algae."

I thought I'd heard wrong. "Blue - what?" I exclaimed. A minute into his explanation, I'd already decided that I was going to become a Cell Tech Distributor, like my son, and I didn't need to hear anything more - just lead me to the algae.

This reaction was totally unlike my careful, logical character. I'd studied nutrition for thirty years and religiously swallowed a handful of various vitamins and minerals each day. During the years I was married and raising children, I'd even had a modicum of success with those homespun techniques, "curing" everything from impetigo, chronic cystitis, hyperactivity. (Even a husband's heart disease had responded to mega-vitamins, and now the doctors were shaking their heads over a heart that sustained surgery and then proceeded to rejuvenate itself.) Outside of the horrors of that heart surgery and required immunizations for the children, doctors saw little of us. I'd learned to trust my knowledge and investigative processes.

But around the time that Co-enzyme Q-10 was discovered, I started to get bored with trying to keep up with the study. It was all getting very complex. By then, I had only my own nutrition to be responsible for, as everyone else had grown up and moved on, looking after their own health. So I quit reading but continued to dole out my old regimen of vitamins and minerals and swallowed them - aware of a nagging little voice in the background, whining that I wasn't keeping current, that I was missing out on something important, that I'd be sorry. Oh, for one capsule that would do it all!

At any rate, I hadn't an inkling when I became a Cell Tech Distributor that this was the "magic" capsule. As far as I was concerned, it was more to add to what I was already taking, and that's how I started out....for the first several days. Like I said, I was bored with the study. I didn't care to know what was in SBGA at the moment - I was going on sheer inspiration and intuition. I didn't know how I knew, but I knew it was right.

A few weeks after I started taking Super Blue Green Algae, I noticed I was moving around more energetically than I had in a long time. There was spring in my step - and the springs everywhere else in my body were bouncing along, too. Creak was getting replaced with Boing.

Attitude changed. Confidence, trust in the goodness of life, a sense of internal celebration, an urge to laugh more freely - these became more the norm. One day a student in the high school at which I taught asked me, "Are you ON something?" As matter of fact I was - but he wouldn't have believed me if I'd told him. A subtle and gradual change had occurred that I hadn't noticed until then, but at home that evening, I thought about the person I had been two months before, and I hardly recognized her.

Mental focus improved. I'd long ago resigned myself, with all the writing I did, to the practice of first throwing everything up on paper and then going back to edit, re-edit, re-re-edit........there seemed to be no other way I could finally get said what I had to say. Three months after beginning to eat the algae, I realized with a shock that for a couple of weeks I'd been saying it almost right the first time, and only one minor editing session was needed. Either I'd become infatuated with my own writing, or it was truly improving.

The multi-tasking that was necessary where I worked stopped being a stress and became a raucous game, for I was now good at it. Managing an office with two computers going, answering a multi-line phone, dealing with people's needs, and all the time tutoring a couple of students on two more computers became a choreography over which I was director, and the dancers weren't tripping.

Why? I asked myself. Well, for one thing, my physical and mental energy level increased with every week on the algae, and when I slept, it was within a depth of peace I hadn't felt since childhood. I knew my energy was boundless the weekend I tackled a big computer project I didn't want to lay down until it was done. Thirty-six hours without sleep after I began, it was finished, and even then I was so excited over what I'd accomplished and how, that I had to lecture myself into calming down and going to sleep.

Until recently, I was a devoted meat eater, not satisfied with any meal unless it included not just eggs or cheese, but actual meat. Without conscious thought or effort, this dependency has weakened, and there are times when my mouth actually waters for a bowl of Texas style black bean soup, heavy on the fresh lime juice and hot sauce (the way only my youngest son can prepare it) - or a big green salad - and meat doesn't appeal at all. It's no wonder: Super Blue Green Algae is rich in balanced and complete protein. But still, I'm surprised at how gracefully I'm backing off the animal protein.

I've lost weight and superfluous fat, my hair sparkles, and I too have been teased about being newly in love. The handful of vitamins and minerals is a tedium of the distant past, for the algae products just about have it all. I have plans for myself - work with my complexion, enhance my circulation, teach my feet to act like feet instead of poor puppies that bark every time they're put to use - and become a general, indefatigable hard-body. The tools are at hand, now.

Actually, I think I'm reversing the years - rejuvenating. It's become my new hobby, along with unlearning my birthday.
